A descent from the bright world above
into the realm beneath Naples,
a city born and reborn in the shadow of Vesuvius.

The walls and corridors become a passage through myth:
the watchful Eyes of Hades from the Underworld,
pomegranates of Persephone, seeds of return and prosperity,
Jupiter reaching upward, claiming the sky,
and the River Styx flowing between worlds.

Our figures are assembled from the universal language of the body,heads, limbs, torsos.
Rearranged and recomposed like rediscovered frescoes,
marked by time, memory and imagination.

Mythology, light, and colour accompany the traveller.
A journey underground becomes a journey into story,
where movement is transformation
and every commute touches the divine.
